If your toilet leaks you can get water damage around it. Like to the floor, the walls around it, it can mess up the cabinets, and the area around the tub if it is close to the toilet or if the water had reached it. If it continues to run out a lot of water you will have it everywhere and it can trail to other rooms and it can do a lot of damage. The water will have to be clean up fast before any damage or major damages are done. Toilet over flows happen all the time you just have to watch it and get it cleaned up right away.

If a toilet over flows it can get in the cracks around, a long, and under the toilet. Which can cause mold growth, weakness to the floors boards, and rotting can occur. It can cause a huge mess and cost a lot in repairs or clean up. Plus all the bacteria in the water can get on your floors and the bacteria in this water can soak under the tile or linoleum. Which will ruin or do a lot of damage in the area that this water soaked in at. If bacteria water gets in carpet the carpet or carpets will have to be steamed cleaned to kill the bacteria and anything else it has in it.

The water damage can spread to the inside of your walls causing mold growth, toxins, and health problems to your family. All just by not taking care of the water that had over flowed around the toilet. Your floors can sink in or the floor can fall, depending on how bad the damage to the floor is and how long it sat there. It can cause stains like black and brown, it could be all around the toilet. It can get really bad and the water damage and the stains can grow bigger, damaging more of the floor. It also is going to cost a lot more to fix it as it sets.

The water damage can also cause fungus and mushrooms to form and grow. The more damage there is the more mold, fungus, mushrooms, and water damage there will be. The can become dangerous to walk on the floor and you can get hurt really bad if you fall through the floor. If you feel the floor moving under your feet get it fixed fast, do not wait it will get worse. Be smart do not put it off, protect your family and your house from these damages that the toilet water can bring in your home. Also the repairs will not be as much if you get it taken care of.
