Whenever long vacations come, I really like to stay in the country side. In the country side, I could do everything I want. I can relax and break away from the stresses of work and the many tiring pollutants.
I also like to stay in the country side because I am reminded of my childhood. I had a lot of fun when I was a kid. I stay here every summer because my grand father owns a farm. I will be staying and playing all summer through at grand fathers farm. He is very accommodating. My grand mother likes to have me around too!
I would play around with the ducks, the goats, chickens, buffalos and with the kids in the farm. We would play in the barn with all the hay stock and we would come running all around.
At night, we would be sitting around the table while grandma prepares dinner. She would cook this really good soup. The table would be lighted up by the wrought iron chandeliers hanging over.
Aside from that, my grand mother also has a lot of interests. She is a really hip woman. Unlike most her age, she is much updated of the things that older ladies never really engage themselves into. She likes fashion and she designs. She loves crafts too that is why she thought of designing her own wrought iron chandeliers.
Grandma really loves her wrought iron chandeliers. These wrought iron chandeliers are custom made by a good family friend. She loves these wrought iron chandeliers so much because she designed them.
She spent so many nights designing her own wrought iron chandeliers because she wants to be unique. A family friend volunteered to fabricate the wrought iron and shape them the way she wanted. It was a really good partnership and these types of chandeliers proved to be really good.
A lot of people in the town liked the wrought iron chandeliers that my grand mother and the close family friend made. The word spread like a big movie and soon a lot are coming over to ask them to make these chandeliers for them.
Though at first grand ma never really thought of making designs for other people, she thought of giving it a shot. It proved to be a worthy part time job. Later on the wrought iron chandeliers that they make have been sold in town.
Now, the once just a hobby of my grand mother became a business being ran by the two families. Who would think my grand mother could do all those? Well it just goes on to prove that age is not a hindrance to finding another success.
